As most Telugu films are having a theatrical run of three to four weeks these days, they are planning to release the film one month before the release of Bahubali -2.
‘DJ’ is another biggie in Summer. They have planned to release the movie in the third week of May, but the makers are taking a cautious approach on the release date because no one can estimate the mania of Bahubali 2.
If Bahubali meets expectations, it is going to rule BOX OFFICE for minimum 50 days. Many film makers feel that they should leave at least a month to Bahubali. It may not be surprising if DJ team do not opt for May release. When it comes to Mahesh film, they have already moved to June 23. Even though they have thought of advaning the release date little further, they have dropped the idea as DJ will be delayed.
