Puri Jagannadh and Chakri have offered a chance to Anup Rubens as music director through ‘Itlu Sravani Subrahmanyam’ movie. In 2014, Rubens has become a music director under the direction of Teja movie ‘Jai’.
Once again Anup Rubens has got a chance for a high budget movie under the direction of Puri Jagganadh, ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ movie. For that film Anup Rubens has given background music score. In Hindi Anup Rubens was given background score to the film ‘Buddha Hoga Tera Baap’ which is starred by Amitabh Bachchan. Both these films stood as turning point in Anup Rubens carrier. Anup Rubens was succeeded as famous music director with ‘Premakavali’ movie which is starred by Saikumar’s son ‘Aadi’. he got both the recognition and success with Premakavali movie.
Later Anup Rubens continued with hit movies like ‘Lovely’, ‘Poolarangadu’ and other films. Akkikeni family gave good chances to Anup Rubens through ‘Manam’ and ‘Auto Nagar Surya’. Anup Rubens has got block buster hit through ‘Manam’ movie as a music director but ‘Auto Nagar Surya’ is not a huge success.
