Neelakanta is a Telugu Film Director and Screenwriter. He has received the National Award in the Screen Writing for the feature Show.

Neelakanta is a native of Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. He studied at Loyola Public School and Loyola College in Vijayawada. Since his school days, Neelakanta has had a deep love for film direction and film making which is what drove him to Chennai after his graduation.

Neelakanta always wanted to make films which eloquently depicted internal psychological patterns and interpersonal relations development characters his passion materialised with “Show” followed by “Missamma”. He received two National Awards, one for Best Screenplay and the other for the Best Feature Film in Telugu for “Show” while state Nandi Award in the screenplay department for the latter.

He then made “Sada Mee Sevalo”, with Shriya and Venu in lead roles, and later made a psychological thriller, “Nandanavanam 120km”. Both these films did not do well at the box office. Despite of its commercial failure, “Nanadanavanam” got him huge critical acclaim. These were followed by Mr.Medhavi. with Genelia and Raja in the lead roles. This film, produced by RamaRao Bodduluri, proved to be an above-average grosser. He also wrote dialogues for a Telugu remake of the Hindi hit A Wednesday!, entitled “Eeenadu”. In 2011, Neelakanta Directed “Virodhi”, featuring Meka Srikanth and Kamalinee Mukherjee. Neelakanta secured the best dialogue writer award in the year 2011 for this film. In 2013 he directed “Chammak Challo”, which gathered bad reviews for both the director and the film.

Harish Shankar is a Film Director and Screenwriter who works in Telugu Cinema. He is one of the successful Directors introduced by Ravi Teja.

Harish Shankar was born in Karimnagar to a Telugu family. He spent his childhood in BHEL, Hyderabad. Throughout his early teen years, he used to act in many stage dramas across Andhra Pradesh conducted by the Drama Companies ‘Seeta Nilayam’ and ‘Lalitha kala Mandiram’. In the next few years, he worked more on backstage writing, where he learned various aspects of writing such as dialogues, modulation, diction, and dialect.

In his pursuit to join the world of cinema, he worked as an Assistant Director for the film ‘Ninne Isthapaddanu’, produced by S Gopal Reddy. This is where he befriended ‘Kona Venkat’, another popular writer of this generation. He worked as an associate director for his next film ‘Veede’, which also introduced him to Raviteja. Impressed with his work, it was Raviteja who offered to act in Harish’s debut directional venture. The flick, ‘Shock’, with Raviteja and Jyothika in the lead roles, was a commercial disaster. His next projects announced were both shelved in the midway.

It was Raviteja again who offered him his second chance as a Director with Mirapakay.Mirapakay was both a commercial and critical hit, winning many accolades for the former. His next Directional venture ‘Gabbar Singh’, which portrayed Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, was a blockbuster and in turn emerged as the highest-grossing Telugu film of the time, now only surpassed by ‘Attarintiki Daredi’, also starring Pawan Kalyan. His next film, ‘Ramayya Vasthavayya’, with Jr.Ntr in the lead role, turned out to do average business at the box office amid huge expectations. His next project was titled as ‘Subramanyam For Sale’ with Sai Dharam Tej.
Harish Shankar is currently directing Allu Arjun in his next film title “Duvvada Jagannadham” produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Prakash Rao Kovelamudi is an Indian Actor, Screenwriter and Film Director from Telugu Cinema. He is the son of Tollywood director K. Raghavendra Rao and grandson of Kovelamudi Surya Prakash Rao.

Kovelamudi Prakash Rao was born on 15 May 1975 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. He graduated in IT and Theater arts from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in West Hollywood.

He made his acting debut with the Telugu movie ‘Neetho’. He also appeared in ‘Morning Raga’. The films under his directorial belt include Bommalata (A belly full of dreams) and the Telugu fantasy film ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’, distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. He also directed a film ‘Size Zero’ in Telugu which is also known as ‘inji iduppazhagi’ in Tamil starring Arya and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.

Konidela Kalyan Babu better known by his stage name Pawan Kalyan, is an Indian Film Actor, Producer, Director, Screenwriter, Writer, and Politician. His film works are predominantly in Telugu cinema and is the younger brother of actor turned politician Chiranjeevi.

Pawan Kalyan was born to Konidela Venkat Rao and Anjana Devi, in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. He is the younger brother of Chiranjeevi and Nagendra Babu.

Kalyan made his acting debut in 1996 Telugu film ‘Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi’. In 1998, he starred in ‘Tholi Prema’ which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu for that year.

He was listed 26th in the Forbes India list of top 100 Celebrities of 2013. As of 2014, he holds a net worth of ₹185 million (US$2.7 million). He produces films under the banners Anjana Productions and Pawan Kalyan Creative Works.

In March 2014, he ventured into politics, founding the Jana Sena Party. During that period, Pawan Kalyan was listed by Google as the most searched Indian celebrity politician on Google search.

Srinu Vaitla is an Indian Film Director associated with Telugu Cinema.

He is from the village of Kandulapalem, East Godavari District.

His first mainstream movie as a director was “Nee Kosam” (1999) starring Ravi Teja and Maheswari. Though the movie was an average flick at the box office, it was critically acclaimed. He shot to fame with his second movie “Anandam” (2001), released in 2001. He made his own impression on the Telugu Cinema comedy. Most importantly, he is known for implementing parabolic narrative for the first time in Indian cinema. This can be observed in his movies Venky, Dhee, Dubai Seenu and Ready. In a recent TV interview Keerthy shared interesting details about herself before Nenu local Shoot.

“My elder sister and I wanted to be part of films at the age of 12 & 10 as my parents were into film industry. I wanted to become a heroine and When we told this to our mother, she felt happy but she asked us to concentrate on my studies first”.

“My first movie ‘Geethanjali’ was produced by my father. Mohan Lal played lead role and Priyadarshan directed the film”.

“When it comes to Nenu Local, my sister warned me about Nani. As she watches Telugu films, she knows about Nani’s acting abilities.. she told me that ‘Nani is natural actor. You have to be careful when you are acting with him’.

When I watched Nani, I realized what she said was true. I used to ask Nani several questions in the sets. He used to answer my questions patiently. Whenever I give a suggestion to improve the scene, he used to listen to me.

“Very few people have this attitude”.

Keerthi Suresh will be seen in Pawan – Trivikram combo which is going to hit the sets soon.

Nenu Local Movie Review

Nenu Local is the most Awaited Action Drama Romantic movie in Tollywood starring Nani and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. In the film, we can see Nani as Babu, Keerthy Suresh as Keethy, Naveen Chandra as Siddhartha varma, Rao Ramesh in a brief negative role. Sachin Khedekar, Posani Krishna Murali and Easwari Rao in the other supporting roles.This is the love story flick like any other tollywood movie which was directed by ‘cinema chupista mama’ fame Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by Dil Raju under his SVC banner.

The film is totally around Romantic love Story. Nani has been projected in a completely different way, his mass acts will sure impress the youth big time and connect to them well. some of the sceenes look heavily inspired from nani’s previous film bale bale magadivoy, this was a diffrent approach. the first half passes with how the love story developed and litle comedy.

The second half of Nenu Local starts with energy and the audience will be surprised with the twist that has been revealed post interval. The best thing is that the movie picks up at jet speed inspite of slow narration. The pre-climax and the climax episodes are an asset for the movie.

The movie is simply entertaining and Keerthy Suresh’s innocent acting worked for this movie. Keerthy-Nani pair looks pretty good on screen. Nani like any graduate guy looks good and acting in the emotional sceenes and comic timing were great. Keerthy Suresh had done good and she had regular dialogue unlike her previous telugu movies.

Musically Nenu Local is already a hit with Devi Sri Prasad’s tunes. Out of all songs, the first one “Next Enti,” the situational song placed well and also choreographed decently. Ace producer Dil Raju, who recently scored superhit with “Shatamanam Bhavathi” scored another hit with this film.

Despite the routine plot, Nani’s performance, DSP’s music and entertainment factor makes it a decent watch.it is light and any audience will enjoy watching it.

Chiranjeevi’s TV Series Date Finalized

Chiranjeevi will be making his small-screen debut with ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’. Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu episodes was supposed to begin in December last year itself. MAA Management, however, delayed it by couple of months for reasons unknown.

Finally, The stage is set for Megastar to made a grand debut on Television. The first episode of ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’ 4th Edition will be aired at 9.30 PM on February 13th, 2017.

Akkineni Nagarjuna was super successful in hosting ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’ for three consecutive seasons. Now, Chiranjeevi will carry forward the work in his style.
