Shriya Saran

Shriya Saran is an Indian film Actress and Model. She has acted in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi language films, as well as a few films in English, Malayalam and Kannada.

Shriya Saran Bhatnagar was born on 11 September 1982 in the Haridwar in Northern India, to Pushpendra Saran Bhatnagar and Neeraja Saran Bhatnagar. Her father worked for Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and her mother was a chemistry teacher in Delhi Public School, Ranipur in Haridwar and Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, New Delhi. Saran completed her schooling from both schools where her mother had taught. She has an elder brother named Abhiroop who lives in Mumbai.Her family lived in the small town of BHEL colony in Haridwar when she was growing up. She later studied at Lady Shri Ram College in Delhiand received a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature.

Saran is an accomplished dancer. She was first trained as a child by her mother in Kathak and Rajasthani folk dance, and later trained in Kathak style by Shovana Narayan. She was involved with many dance teams in college and with her teacher. They would incorporate social issues into their dance routines.

In 2001, her dance master gave her the opportunity to appear in Renoo Nathan’s debut music video “Thirakti Kyun Hawa”, which brought Saran to the attention of many Indian filmmakers. Although Saran aspired to become a well-known dancer, she was offered a leading role. Thus, Saran made her film debut in 2001 with the Telugu film ‘Ishtam’ and had her first commercial success with ‘Santhosham’ (2002).

She subsequently appeared in several more Telugu films, while making in-roads in the Hindi and Tamil industries. In 2007, Saran starred in ‘Sivaji’, the highest-grossing Tamil film at that time. She also gained critical acclaim for her role in the 2007 Bollywood film ‘Awarapan’. In 2008, Saran played the lead role in her first English film, the American-Indian co-production ‘The Other End of the Line’. Her following projects included popular films such as ‘Kanthaswamy’ (2009) in Tamil and ‘Pokkiri Raja’ (2010) in Malayalam — roles that established her as one of the leading actresses in the South Indian film industries. In 2012, she was cast in the British-Canadian film ‘Midnight’s Children’ under the direction of Deepa Mehta, based on Salman Rushdie’s Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name, for which she received international critical acclaim. She achieved further commercial success by starring in films such as Pavitra (2013) and Chandra (2013). In 2014, Saran starred in the critically acclaimed Telugu film ‘Manam’, which she received accolades for her performance.

In addition to her work in films, Saran has been the brand ambassador for brands across India, endorsing beauty and health products. Among other philanthropic activities, she has volunteered for charity organizations. In 2011 she opened a spa employing exclusively visually challenged people. She also was the brand ambassador Celebrity Cricket League for its two first seasons.

Bhupesh Bhupathi

Bhupesh Bhupathi is an Indian Art Director, Cinematographer and Producer who primarily works with Telugu Cinema.

He graduated at National Institute of Design, India in 1996. After graduating, he started working with Telugu film industry since 2001.

After a brief struggle, he debuted as an art director with the Telugu film ‘Allari’. He has handled the art direction for a handful of films. He also owns Digital Force Entertainment, a company which has been active since 2000s’.

Neeta Lulla

Neeta Lulla is an Indian Costume Designers and fashion stylist who has worked on over 300 films. She has been designing wedding dresses since 1985.

Neeta Lulla grew up in Mumbai, India and spent significant time in Filmcity, a film studio within the city. She is now married to Dr Shyam Lulla who is a psychiatrist.

Her name became inseparably associated with Bollywood after actresses Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit wore her costumes in ‘Devdas’ , the trend-setting setting Bollywood film. Her first big client was jewelry designer Varuna Jani, though Jani hadn’t started her business at the time. After that Lulla fully committed to a Bollywood client base when she designed for actor Spana who was prominent in the Bollywood community in South India. This success was followed by her designs for actresses Salma Agha and Sridevi.

A notable creation from later in her career was a dress she designed for Aishwarya Rai’s wedding to Abhishek Bachchan. She crafted Rai’s pearl-encrusted lehenga for her mehendi ceremony and an additional dress for her South Indian wedding ceremony. The designer has claimed her favorite wedding that she’s created pieces for was Rakhi Sawant. Neeta Lulla has designed for Shilpa Shetty, Aishwarya Rai, Sridevi, Sapna, Salma Azad, Isha Koppikar and Juhi Chawla. After successfully completing the challenge of designing for a period films like Mohenjo Daro (2016), she designs for Tollywood in ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’.

Neeta Lulla has been known to utilize Paithani, the ancient technique of tapestry that combines multiple threads of different colors and incorporates gold and silver threads woven together to create a dynamic piece of silk. One of her most notable Paithani collections was shown in February 2016 at the Make In India initiative.

Neeta Lulla has been vocal about combating gender based violence and has used her work as a platform for promoting the issue.

Tamannaah Bhatia

Tamannaah Bhatia known as Tamannaah, is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Telugu and Tamil films. She has also appeared in Hindi films. In addition to acting, she also participates in stage shows and is a prominent celebrity endorser for brands and products.

Tamannaah Bhatia was born on 21 December 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, to Santhosh and Rajani Bhatia. She has an elder brother, Anand. Her father is a diamond merchant. She is of Sindhi descent. She did her schooling in SJR high School, Mumbai. She later changed her screen name for numerological reasons, varying it slightly to Tamannaah. Rana was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to Telugu film producer Daggubati Suresh Babu.He did his schooling in Hyderabad from hyderabad Public School His paternal grandfather was D. Ramanaidu, a famous film producer who was conferred with the third highest civilian award in the Republic of India, the Padma Bhushan, in recognition for his contribution to Telugu cinema. His paternal Uncle Venkatesh and his maternal cousin Naga Chaitanya are also actors in Telugu Cinema with Venkatesh being one of the Telugu superstars.

In 2010, he made his acting debut with the Telugu blockbuster ‘Leader’, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. In 2015, he starred as the main antagonist in ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, which recorded the second highest gross opening for an Indian film.

As a Visual Effects producer, Rana won the State Nandi Award for Best Special Effects in 2006 for the Telugu film ‘Sainikudu’ starring Mahesh Babu. In 2006, he received the National Film Award for co-producing ‘Bommalata – A Bellyful of Dreams’.

Rana’s first movie was “Leader” in Telugu directed by Shekhar Kammula which is one of his biggest success. Rana made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Dum Maaro Dum which released on 22 April 2011. He was listed at number 20, on the Times of India’s Most Desirable Men for the year 2011.

He played a professional killer in the film ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ under Puri Jagannath’s direction, which was a box office bomb. His first release in 2012 was ‘Naa Ishtam’ which was followed by his second Hindi film ‘Department’. He next starred in ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ directed by Krish which became a box office success. He made his debut in Tamil through Ajith Kumar’s ‘Aarambam’. In 2013 he secured two big budget projects, Gunasekhar’s ‘Rudhramadevi’ and S. S. Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ in which he is the lead antagonist. Rana did a cameo role in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’.

Bahubali was released worldwide in July 2015 and achieved huge success across the globe. Rana played “Bhallala Deva”, the cousin of protagonist Bahubali, who had negative shades and received unexpected appreciation from critics. The movie collected over ₹ 500 crores worldwide and is the highest grossing Indian movie domestically.

Prabhas is an Indian Film Actor known for his works in Telugu cinema.

Prabhas was born to U. Suryanarayana Raju and Siva Kumari. He is the youngest of three children, with an elder brother Pramod Uppalapati and sister Pragathi. He is the nephew of Telugu actor Krishnam Raju Uppalapati.

In 2015, he played a titular role in the epic’Baahubali: The Beginning’ (2015), which is the third Global highest grossing Indian film of all time, and the highest grossing Indian film of all time within India.

Prabhas started his movie career with ‘Eshwar’ in 2002. In 2003, he was the lead in ‘Raghavendra’. In 2004, he appeared in ‘Varsham’. He continued his career with ‘Adavi Raamudu’ and ‘Chakram’.

In September 2005 he acted in the film ‘Chatrapathi’ directed by S. S. Rajamouli, in which he portrays the role of a refugee, exploited by goons. It had a 100-day run in 54 centers.

Later he acted in’Pournami’, ‘Yogi’ and ‘Munna’, an action-drama film came out in 2007, followed by the action-comedy ‘Bujjigadu’ in 2008. In 2009 his two films were ‘Billa’ and ‘Ek Niranjan’.

In 2010 he appeared in the romantic comedy’Darling’ and in 2011, ‘Mr. Perfect’, another romantic comedy. In 2012, Prabhas starred in ‘Rebel’, an action film directed by Raghava Lawrence. His next film was ‘Mirchi’. He rendered voice for a short cameo for the film ‘Denikaina Ready’.

In 2015 he appeared in S.S. Rajamouli’s epic ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’. The film became the third highest grossing film worldwide in India and garnered critical and commercial praise all over the world. The sequel is set to release in 2017.

Manchu Manoj Kumar was born on 20 May 1983 to film actor Mohan Babu and Manchu Nirmala Devi. He has an elder sister Lakshmi Manchu and an elder brother Vishnu Manchu who are both Tollywood actors. He received his bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

In 2012, he starred in ‘Mr. Nookayya’ and ‘Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara?’. In March 2013, he announced 5 films. His subsequent releases were ‘Potugadu’, ‘Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda’ and ‘Current Theega’.

Record Satellite Rights for Robot 2.0

Superstar Rajinikanth & Akshay Kumar starrer ‘2.0’ is the Costliest Film ever made in Indian Cinema. This biggie set yet another record even before its theatrical release.

Reportedly, Zee TV bagged Satellite Rights of ‘Robot 2.0’ for a whooping Rs 110 crore. This include the rights of Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions. It’s the biggest price offered for the rights of a single feature film in the history of Indian Film Industry.

with Satellite Rights if the movie makes Rs 110 crore, which is 27% of the production cost then there is no doubt for ‘2.0’ Production recovery cost.

Theatrical Business is also expected to expand. Trade Circles expect the theatrical business to be at least Rs 400 crore for Indian Versions (Tamil: Rs 150 crore; Hindi: Rs 150 crore; Telugu: Rs 75 crore, Malayalam: Rs 15 crore).

International Versions of ‘2.0’ may fetch more than 100 crore and dubbed version depending on the success of Indian Versions.
