D Shiva Prasad Reddy was born in 1956. He was a big fan of ANR. He started out his career as a Film Distributor and turned into Producer. He has founded Kamakshi movies in 1985. His debut movie as a producer is ‘Sravana Sandhya’ which was released in 1986.
He has worked with Nagarjuna for movie ‘Vicky Dada’, From then on their friendship continuing. Later he produced a movie titled ‘Mutamestri’ starred Mega Star Chiranjeevi, Meena and Roja. Later on, he is producing movies only for Nagarjuna, Kamakshi movies became Nagarjuna’s home banner.
Shiva Prasad Reddy has produced several Telugu films under this company and several films have been distributed. Telugu movies produced by the company include ‘Mutha Mestri’, ‘Nenunnanu’, ‘King’, ‘Seetharama Raju’, ‘Allari Alludu’, ‘Kedi’, ‘Ragada’, ‘Dhada’, ‘Greeku Veerudu’.
