Sampath Nandi is an Indian Film Director, Screenwriter and Producer who works primarily in Telugu Cinema.
Sampath Nandi was born in Odella, Karimnagar , Telangana, India.
After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the V.L. College of Pharmacy, he assisted Posani Krishna Murali for about three years. In the mean time he used to make ad-films in Mumbai.
In 2010 he made his Directorial debut with ‘Yemaindi Ee Vela’, starring Varun Sandesh and Nisha Aggarwal.
His second film was 2012’s ‘Racha’, starring Ram Charan and Tamannaah Bhatia which turned to be his first blockbuster that made him one of the most sought-after young directors in the industry.
The film completed a 50-day run in 127 direct centers across Andhra Pradesh. The film completed a 100-day run in 38 centers across Andhra Pradesh on 13 July 2012.
In 2015, he directed Ravi Teja’s movie ‘Bengal Tiger’ (2015 film), which has Tamannaah & Raashi Khanna as lead actresses. Bengal Tiger released worldwide on 10 December 2015 and turned out to be a commercially successful project earning Sampath Nandi a “hattrick director” tag in the trade circles.
